Calypsos Busser (IOC)
The Busser is responsible for clearing tables in a timely manner. Assures that guests have a favorable dining experience. Responsible for clearing dishes and wiping down tables. Marketing Promotions Coordinator (IOC)
The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating functions and special on site promotions. Performs special projects at the direction of the Player Development Manager. Develops and manage weekly, on-site promotions and prizes. Weekly lobby/weekend entertainment, and monthly headliner entertainment. Assists the Player Development Manager on all major department events including tournaments, birthday, New Year’s Eve, and other special events. Coordinates with all departments on all tournaments, promotions, parties, special events to produce coupons, posters, signage, and invitations. Works with departments financial data. Communicating details of promotions, entertainment, and Promotional events to all departments, corporate, and sister companies. Assists with holiday events, and community development functions. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Zero to one-year experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities. Grave shift position. Starting wage: $10.50
Guest Safety Agent (IOC)
Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees, and company assets. Display excellent guest service. Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of casino and atrium to hotel. Monitoring for minors and checking for proper identification. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. One to two years experience in security. Some training in OSHA regulations. Must hold a valid gaming license, CO Driver’s License and TIPS card. Must have a clean driving record. Being bilingual is helpful, but not a necessity. Starting Wage: $12.00
Guest Safety (Security) Manager (IOC)
The Guest Safety Manager is responsible and accountable for the operation of the Security department. Insures the physical security and safety aspects of the complex. Implements programs to safeguard the welfare and assets of all customers and employees for areas of operation. Develops and managers the budget for the security department. Manages the overall performance of the Security department. Provide protection and safety to patrons and employees. Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates. Manages programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Review security activities with Director of Property Management. Establishing and maintaining working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to include community involvement. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Manages property emergency and disaster plan. Manages program to deny under age people access to gaming areas. Other duties as assigned. Five to seven years experience in security in investigations, surveillance, and patron/property liability of high volume business or industry with a 4- year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Maintenance Tech I – Painter (IOC)
This position will be responsible for hotel renovations, including but not limited to: framing, drywall repair, paint, carpet laying, and trim. The technician has to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and other projects relating to maintenance. The majority of the work performed will be painting. Other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a certification in a trade one to three years experience in facilities maintenance or a combination of education/experience. Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. This is a project driven position, employment will not continue once the project is complete. Starting wage: $13.00
Facilities Clerk (IOC)
The Facilities Clerk is responsible for the successful administration functions within the Facilities Department. Assists in the operations of the Housekeeping, Maintenance, Grounds, and Hotel areas. Provide administrative support for Facilities. Plans, organize, and coordinate meetings. Maintain files for budgets, special projects, daily expenses and payroll reports. Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Prepare operating reports, such as time and attendance records, termination, new hires, transfers, budget expenditures, and statistical records of performance data. Assist with obtainment of bids from contractors for construction and preparing contracts. Assist in quality control, property inspections, and monitoring all facilities. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing the Membership Department, including selling new DDP memberships, retaining existing ones, and selling and managing Partnership sponsorships.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
- Oversees the strategies relating to reaching retention and recruitment goals.
- Manages Member Relations Specialist and Membership Sales Coordinator.
- Makes sales calls to prospective members. Coordinates with other key influencers, such as board members or Partnership staff, to make the most effective sales presentations.
- Uses a variety of channels to attract new members. Achieves monthly sales goals, both in terms of new members and dues volume.
- Collects payment, coordinates orientation into the organization and follows up on administrative details related to prospecting and the closing of the sale.
- Sells DDP sponsorships and manages the organization’s sponsorship process.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Proven sales results. A minimum of 5 years of sales and management experience, preferably in a service or membership related field. Bachelor degree. Must be well organized, excellent communicator and very flexible. This position involves attending a variety of evening networking functions, community events and meetings to promote the Partnership and grow membership.

The Children’s Museum of Denver has openings for 2 Part-Time Museum Associates with lots of energy and commitment to great customer service. Museum Associates work as part of the Museum’s Education Team to deliver an exceptional guest experience by interacting with children and families, maintaining clean play spaces, and supporting Museum programs. Associates represent the Children’s Museum to guests on the floor, answer questions, perform light cleaning and re-organizing duties, and assist with birthday parties, story times, and other programs and events as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Children’s Museum of Denver has an immediate opening for an Assistant Manager of Guest Services and Retail to help ensure a positive experience for all members and guests of the Museum.
Job responsibilities include:
- Operations of the Museum’s Eat Street Café to include: Inventory Control, product ordering, merchandising and cash handling
- Provide supervision and management support to Admissions, Gift Shop and Membership operations.
- Opening and closing procedures for all retail operations.
- Provide scheduling, supervision and support of Guest Services front desk staff, as directed by Manager of Guest Services.
- Support membership processing and fulfillment
- School group check in and coordination with education staff
- Maintain clean and safe environment
- Communicate with guests ensuring customer service issues are effectively addressed and work to improve overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Applicant must have exceptional customer service and communication skills, friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and able to work well with a motivated team.
- Must have an understanding of budget management, record keeping and retail reporting
- Requires a minimum TWO years of retail with supervisory experience and high volume cash handling/cash register experience
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn our retail and ticketing programs
- Knowledge and understanding of museums and/or nonprofit organizations preferred
- Frequent heavy lifting/ must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

4. Maintain awareness, contacts and information on area resources for small businesses.
5. Maintain regular and ongoing client follow-up.
6. Document client engagements and activities in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner. Maintain adequate client files as per SBA and SBDC guidelines.
